Real estate firm TDI has sketched a growth plan for next 3-4 years comprising advancement of seven townships in Tier II and Tier III cities in North India, in addition to raiding the hospitality sector.
The Delhi-based company also planned to establish about eight hotels within 2-3 years.
Kamal Taneja, TDI Managing Director said, “With areas like Gurgaon and Noida reaching saturation as far as real estate development is concerned, the neighbouring cities of Sonepat, Agra and Moradabad offer huge opportunities for infrastructure development.”
The company plans to expand townships at Sonepat, Moradabad, Meerut, Agra, Mohali and Panipat, while malls and multiplexes would be constructed in Chandigarh, Agra, Sonepat, Moradabad, Delhi and Jasola over the next 3-4 years.
TDI caters to the mid market segment and the hotels would also be for this category, he said, adding that hotels would also help in catering to increased demand for rooms during the Commonwealth Games in Delhi. |
