Market trades flat after opening strong |

The 30-share index opened sturdily at 13,107.37 and traded on a flat note in the early trades.
On the other hand, Asian stocks also opened in green, depicting signs that they might end the week by staunching the declensions discovered throughout the week.
In the opening trades, there were 665 advancements as against 551 declinations.
Amongst the sectoral indicants, BSE Auto climbed up 0.59%, BSE Bankex climbed 0.54%, whereas BSE Metal cast off 0.07% and BSE FMCG acquired 0.85%.
The major gainers’ on the BSE Sensex include ONGC that came up 1.29% at Rs 790.10, Reliance Industries climbed 1.14% at Rs 1350 and Maruti Udyog benefited 1.08% at Rs 802. HDFC Bank and Wipro were among the other gainers.
Laggards on the index included BHEL, which declined 2.32% at Rs 2125, HDFC, which dipped 1.60% at Rs 1525 and Cipla, which shed 1.31% at Rs 233.40. Reliance Comm., L&T and Hindalco also slipped. |
